What is Keto?

A keto diet, in its simplest terms, consists of high fat, moderate protein and very low carbohydrates. Carbs typically amount to 20-50g per day.


Is Longaevitas Granola Keto-friendly?

Yes, all Longaevitas products have between 3-4 Net Carbs per serving and since they consist primarily of nuts and seeds, are loaded with healthy omega 3 fats. Traditional granola, on the other hand, is off limits to people on keto because the carbs there usually are in excess 30g.

While nuts do provide some protein, we bolster the protein content in Longaevitas with organic pea protein so that each serving typically provides 5g Protein.


Is Longaevitas Granola Diabetic-friendly?

Yes. Diabetics must limit carbohydrates and sugar in their diet. All Longaevitas products have only 3-4 Net Carbs per serving and our Original CACAO has just 2g of added sugar per serving whereas, all our varieties contain NO ADDED SUGAR.

We believe that foods that limit the rise of blood sugar and insulin response are good for all people. That’s why we strive to create products that keep blood sugar in check.Diabetics know that cinnamon is great for regulating blood sugar and that explains why our Cinnamon CEYLON Granola is a favorite among diabetics.


Is Longaevitas Granola Vegan?

Yes, all Longaevitas products are vegan. We use NO dairy/whey nor do we use honey. Our granola is made from nuts, seeds, and spices from Mother Earth. Even the Organic Pea Protein we use is plant-based.


Is Longaevitas Granola GMO Free?

We despise GMOs. It’s that simple. We buy Non-GMO-verified ingredients. We also despise the fact that other food-makers are now getting around the labeling of GMOs with the new term Bioengineered Food. Doesn’t matter what they call it, we won’t use it.


Is there a lot of fat in Longaevitas?

Nuts are naturally high in fat and they make up the bulk of our products, but the fat in nuts is considered largely beneficial. In fact, Most of the fat found in nuts is a healthy type called monounsaturated fat. Many Studies have shown that people who eat nuts live longer than those who don’t. This may be because nuts have been shown to reduce risk factors for metabolic syndrome, such as high blood pressure and cholesterol levels.

What’s more, the entire premise of Keto is to use fat as a fuel in lieu of glucose. There’s great science to support the fact that fat doesn’t make you fat while carbohydrates and sugar do.


Is Longaevitas a cereal or a snack food?

Both and then some. First, and foremost, you can enjoy Longaevitas any way you would traditional granola: with yogurt, milk or milk alternatives. It’s also great in a smoothie or chia bowl and it’s great just on its own.

Is there an order minimum?

We provide $7 flat rate shipping in the U.S. (excluding Alaska & Hawaii) so we require a minimum of 2 bags with each order.
